March 7-13, 2021 Classic Seether Remedy - the adventure continues
Undaunted by my less than stellar performance of Gasoline I picked Remedy which has a slower guitar part. Not that I'm ready to give up on Gasoline, but I don't think I could convincingly sing, "I wanna waste her monthly blood, wanna get some on my love." I don't have the parts for either activity. So I started with Remedy taught by Guitar Smith who plays it re-e-eally slow. I got the first part sounding like the actual song so I got brave, since everyone else was out of the house, and plugged the electric guitar into the amp and switched it on. I actually might learn this one! I went back to learn the next part and hit my cup of tea with the headstock of the guitar and tipped it onto my desk and laptop. The guitar was in the clear but my mouse is a little damp and my mousepad is sticky. No sparks or fire from the laptop, so I think I'm good. Not particularly coordinated, but good. March 13th. Anyone want a mediocre rock guitar...
